About Us
Annual Conference
The Association holds its annual three day conference in the Autumn hosted by one of the members societies. There is also a Spring conference which travels to different venues around the country, usually on a showground of one of our members, which aims to bring the membership up to date with any changes or amendments in legislation since the previous year's annual event.
Consultative Bodies
The Association is actively involved with DEFRA, Weights & Measures, the Health & Safety Executive, Performing Rights Society, various Breed Societies, BSJA etc to promote the views of members and to ensure that legislation is not passed which makes its members' task even more difficult.
Additional Services
We are constantly looking for other services and facilities which we can offer to members. Items currently under investigation are IT, bulk purchasing of power/telephone, provision of training, sponsorship and education policies.
