Annual Autumn Conference

The Association holds its Annual Conference in the Autumn hosted by one of the members' societies.  There is a pre-Conference programme that includes leisure activities and a full Conference leisure programme for partners.

The Conference programme starts with the AGM of the Association.  The following two days include presentations, discussions and seminars when the opportunity of sharing problems and best practice with colleagues is found to be of great benefit.  The culmination of the Conference is the Annual Dinner, a black-tie event, that provides a chance to unwind after a hectic couple of days.

The 2012 Annual Conference is on Friday 9th - Sunday 11th November and is being hosted by The Three Counties Agricultural Society, Malvern.

Bursary

In order to help as many members as possible to attend the Annual Conferences, the Association offers a bursary.  Any member organisation that has not sent a delegate in the past, or has a new secretary, may apply for a bursary.  This is intended to help towards travelling and accommodation costs.  Applications should be made to the Association Secretary, before 30th September.

Regional Meetings

The Country is split into regions and regional meetings are held in Devon and Cornwall, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Central England, Wessex, the South East, North West and Yorkshire.   These are one-day events organised locally and offer those unable to attend the Autumn Conference the chance to meet colleagues and catch up on a range of topics.

Learning Days

These interactive events are held annually, covering subjects such as: livestock, marketing and promotion, membership, sponsorship and trade stands.

The 2012 Learning Day is on Saturday 25th February at The Three Counties Showground, Malvern.
