Consultative Bodies

The Association is consulted and included in regular discussions with: Breed Societies, Charity Commissioners, DCMS (Licensing), DEFRA, HOYS (Horse of the Year Show), Health and Safety Executive, Performing Rights Society, Police and Trading Standards. 

These discussions are to promote the views of the membership to ensure that impractical legislation is not passed.

Recent consultations include: Bpex, Event Safety Guide, Public Enquiries, Self-employed regulations, Pig and Sheep Movement Schemes, Showground lease agreements.
