Poynton Show

Established in 1885 we are a large, well established one-day show in East Cheshire, organised entirely by volunteers.

Typical attendance is around 7k visitors who enjoy all the farm animals, country crafts, excellent trade stands, a food market, steam engines, tractors, classic cars and superb ‘main ring’ attractions.

We host the ‘National Show for the Gladioli Society’ and promote both horticulture and creative hobbies.  There is a large entertainments stage with live bands performing from noon until early evening, as well as a bandstand for several brass/ silver bands, a crafts market and a sizeable fairground too.
