The Royal Three Counties Show is a true celebration of the countryside and rural life, set at the foot of the picturesque Malvern Hills and it is recognised as one of the largest livestock and equine shows in England, with HRH the Princess Royal as Patron.
Over the three show days, more than 6,000 animals are exhibited, over 50 prestigious Horse of the Year Show qualifiers are held and there are over 2,000 entries into the equine classes. The biggest rare and minority breeds show in the UK is held on the Sunday and 15 livestock national breed shows are due to be held this year.
There is also a Farming Village which provides advice, information and discussion opportunities on the future of farming, cutting-edge technology, machinery, sustainability and business openings. It also gives youngsters and those wanting to change career the chance to learn more about the interesting career opportunities within the agricultural sector.
Those wanting some action-packed drama shouldn’t miss the thrilling main arena acts, the fiercely competitive sheep shearing contests and the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Arena – a hugely popular feature where both professional and amateur men and women compete to be crowned STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® British Champion.
There is a wide range of other entertainment for all the family too, including special guest talks, a Food & Drink Festival, Cookery Theatre, Countryside Arena demonstrations, a Cider and Perry Festival, a Cheese and Dairy Show as well as plenty of shopping opportunities.
