National Shire Horse Show

8-10 March 2024

The Shire Horse Society will host its National Shire Horse Show indoors at Stafford County Showground, Weston Road, Stafford, ST18 0BD on 8th, 9th & 10th March 2024.

Enthusiasts will show their horses, with spectators expected to come from far and wide.

The pedigree Shire horses will be put through their paces over two days of competition- giving horse lovers a unique insight into the gentle giants of the horse world. The National Shire Horse Show is the opportunity to find out more about Shire horses, see them shown in style- in-hand, ridden and turned out- to support the work of the Shire Horse Society.

The prestigious King George V cup will be awarded to the most impressive stallion on Saturday and a host of other trophies will be handed out over the weekend.

This indoor event is a spectacular weekend of family fun including:

• In-hand Classes
• Turnout Classes
• Ridden Shire Horse Classes
• Agricultural Classes
• Grand Parade
• Interactive area for Children

The event starts at 8:00 am and closes at approximately 6:00pm.

2024 Shire Horse Society full members gain free admission by presenting their 2024 badge which will be scanned.  Supporter members gain free admission on one day of their choice.
