Our membership runs from 1 January to 31 December each year, with subscriptions due by 31 January. Your fee is simply based on your show’s attendance and how many days it runs – and if you play music, we can also offer a great‑value discounted PPL licence to keep things easy!

If your event features music, our discounted Phonographic Performing Licence makes life a whole lot easier. ASAO members benefit from a simple, great‑value annual arrangement with PPL — just one fee based on your attendance, with shows of 10,000 visitors or fewer paying a fixed minimum rate. For 2026, that’s £40 for the first 10,000 attendees and £3.65 per additional 1,000.
It’s a straightforward, cost‑effective way to stay covered and keep the music playing!
